I am an organized, highly-motivated Meat Manager with seven years experience in a grocery store. In my management career, I have become proficient at meeting key performance indicator goals (gross profit, net profit, customer increase, items per labor hour, and supply cost), scheduling, handling complaints and conflicts (both associate and customer), meeting high standards as set by my employer, managing shrink, setting the standard for safety and quality production, and ensuring a fun and exciting work environment.
I made it to meat manager with Publix within four years of being in the Meat department. I am a Certified Food Safety Manager.
I am responsible for all aspects of the Meat and Seafood department at my store. The bus stops here. My daily responsibilities include, scheduling, ordering, safety, customer service, handling conflict, meeting goals as set by corporate, merchandising, inventory control, shrink management, managing production, and maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and food safety.

I broke my back playing college football. After breaking my back, I failed out of school due to absences. It was then that I moved to TN and started working for Publix.
