•As state Chief Public Affairs NCO I organized local media visits to see our troops in both Iraq and Afghanistan, then escorted the media through these combat zones
•Mobilized on short notice three times for hurricane duty. One mission sent me to the forward area where I worked with junior staff to maximize media coverage of our recovery efforts. On other occasions I remained on duty at our Austin headquarters, responding to media inquiries, and briefing General Officers on our status
