I have grown up around ranching and farming and have had a progressive background in Ranch Management.
I have studied Ranch Production and have taken several continuing education opportunities in this field.
While working in this field I have availed myself with every opportunity to learn about new farming and ranching practices from Utah State Extension classes to twice attending the Ranching for Profit school in Billings, Montana.
I continue to find education opportunities and research farming and ranching techniques.
I am dedicated to developing strategies and communications to help Castle Valley Ranch reach and engage their target objective of a profitable and environmentally sustainable farming and ranching practice .
My original job was to develop and build an Orvis Wingshooting Lodge.
I designed and oversaw construction of lodges.
Designed Farming and habitat strategies and implement same.
Created and built Ponds and wetlands for the propagation of wildlife.
Coordinated with all government agency's related to these endeavors.
In January of 2004 I was asked to take over Management of the Ranch.
This included the Farming and Cattle and Horse operations.
I developed a process for tracking growth and the efficient Production of all crops.
Over saw the day to day operations and Managed the Staff of Farmer and Cowboy's Employed by the ranch.
All duties related to the management of the Assessors office.
I have spent my life trying to gain experience in several different fields.
Architecture: I have designed and overseen the construction of over 100 homes and small businesses.
Appraisal: I was appointed By Governor Norm Bangerter and reappointed by Governor Mike Leavit to serve as the chairman of the Utah State Appraisal Licensure board.
I served as president of the Utah Assessors Association.
I served on several Taxation Legislative committees.
With My Wife we have developed and sold three small business.
I have Trained and been raised around Ranching and Farming throughout my life.
I now own my own small farm and have owned and managed my own cattle operation.
