Responsible for departmental metrics relating to defect rates and error management including the use and development of Qlikview reporting tools.
Responsible for supplier site audit records and follow up to assure timely completion of findings as well as global tool development to support distribution and manufacturing ability to leverage results.
Coordinate quality credential documentation around VWR Collection product certifications, technical specifications, packaging and labeling of new suppliers by providing tools and training to NA Category Management and Market Managers
Coordinate quality credential documentation for branded suppliers in terms of product certifications of new suppliers by providing tools and training to NA Category Management and Market Managers.
Core Departmental Functions
Responsible for a corporate Radnor based team for developing metrics, data bases, responding to customers' survey requests for both VWR and supplier information, as well as management over site of core functions such as defect trending, change notification, and recall management.
Responsible North American GBC QA team in Coimbatore for managing direction of the work and outputs.
Responsible for the overall management of VWR's product certification program as it relates to gathering and posting product certifications on VWR.com.
Responsible for building, maintaining a product attribute data base in support of customer requests for supplier, supplier survey and supply chain mapping information as well as the management of associated non-disclosure agreements.
Responsible for the administration execution and management oversight of product recalls in conjunction with and guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager and VP of Supplier Quality Management and VWR Regulatory authorities as may be engaged.
Responsible for the management oversight and daily operations of VWR's Change Notification Verification Service function (CNVS).
Responsible for the management oversight of VWR product labeling including the assignment of GTIN's (Global Trade Identification numbers, as well as implementing VWR Medical Device UDI (Unique device identification) barcode formats from suppliers and approved VWR product label archives.
Responsible for the North American distribution supplier Quality and performance database for both VWR Core and VWR Market Source suppliers in relation to the following: VWR approved supplier status, VWR Scorecard activity, VWR risk assessments, VWR Supplier site audit activity, VWR QA survey activity, VWR sustainability Charter Agreement, supplier facility ISO certifications, ASC (American Sales Conference) participation and VWR annual and operational supplier awards.
