Maintenance Technician committed to quality customer service. Maintains a clean and organized job site. Goal oriented,Team player and can follow instructions to the last detail. Believes to do do the job right the first time.
While working for Basic Environmental, I was sent to work with the JLL Maintenance crew at the ExxonMobil new campus at the Woodlands and got recommended for Special Projects within two weeks of joining the team.
0% accident ratio on the two months that I was assigned to participate as the person in charge of Safety in the Build Out Project therefore improving Safety Record of the Company and saving the company serious downtime and costly accident investigations.
Working for Basic Environmental I provided equipment and purchased supplies to complete projects out of pocket without expecting reimbursement. Job had to be completed by the deadline without any excuses.
As a maintenance Technician my duties were to replace or fix carpet tile, automatic Soap Dispensers, replace non working automatic flush valves or motion sensors on the valves on the restrooms, replace water faucets adjust doors, install instructional wall boards, break down old and assemble new office furniture and follow up with residents after work completion to get feedback on repairs and work performance
By recommendation of my immediate supervisor Albert Rodriguez (832)702-0857, a coworker and I were transfered to the Wellness Center. At the Wellness Center Project we were required to monitor the Air Conditioning Quality until the issue was resolved a couple of months later. My job was to take individual room temperatures from the three story building. This included both room temperature and vent output every hour, record it and report to the Engineering department for proper setpoint adjustments. Part of the job was also to address any questions or concerns that residents might have regarding the building temperature conditions on the daily basis.
After the Wellness Center project I was once again I was transfered but this time to the Build Out Project. At the build out I was in charge of writing daily work permits, making sure all the working crews including Electricians and Drywall installers wore their PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and followed safety procedures. 0 accidents in the two months I was on location before being transfered to a different project at the Energy Center under the Supervision of Daniel Reyes.
The Energy Center is the heart of the campus and it is run by its own maintenance Crew separate from the rest of the campus. Is Basically a state of the art building where people from all over the world come to take classes about all of Exxonmobil guidelines, projects, procedures, etc. Our responsibilities were to identify and repair any issues reported by the residents, students and or classroom instructors in a timely manner. We were required to have a 15 minute response time to at least identify the problem and come up with a proper solution. The building was also used for board meetings, CEOs conferences, Holiday Parties, retirement parties etc.
As a Tax Advocate my duties included interviewing clients either by phone or in person to gather information regarding their financial status in order to prepare a financial statement along with an Offer in Compromise to the Internal Revenue Service and try to get their Tax Debt reduced. Throughout the process I had to coordinate with the Sales Department in order to move forward with the case depending on the client's ability to pay our fees at that particular point of the process.
Part of my job required to call the IRS directly and submit tax forms in order to request information on behalf of the client to find out where they stood in the collection process by the IRS, This information we requested is called a Full Compliance Check and included every bit of information attached to the client's SSN or ITIN.
After completing the interview, research clients assets and completing the financial statement and proper application forms I had the documents reviewed by our attorney and made the necessary adjustments if needed. After the attorney signed off on the paperwork my job was to submit the application via registered mail to the proper IRS division. After the documentation was submitted I followed up with clients until their case was resolved.
Currently enrolled in HVAC classes through Latino Learning Centers with a graduation date on mid April
