I was hired on in 1989 and spent a few months in Site Maintenance then moved on to operations. I worked in Operations. While in Operations I finished all the required NUS training manuals as well as the plant specific manuals. I had also started my control room operator training. From operations I went to Maintenance. I completed the four year apprenticeship program. I have had training in machine shop operations, welding. I completed the training and am one of the five crane operators. I have been trained in all mobile equipment in maintenance shop. Always assigned lead mechanic jobs during outages. Have also filled in for supervisor and planner when needed. In 2011 I joined the ERT where I am a firefighter I and Hazmat certified.
