Scheduled backhaul loads for Wal-Mart's private fleet. Communicated daily with customers regarding volume and service. Built strong relationships with high volume customers. Initiative was taken to ensure grocery loads were given the utmost attention and excellent customer service.
As a result of cross-training I gained experience in a variety of areas within Grocery Traffic. As a Rejections Analyst I was the liaison between the Customers and the Carriers. I was responsible for reconsigning rejected produce and communicating between both parties. As a Shipment Coordinator I negotiated rates and tendered loads to various carriers picking up in all states and going to thirteen Wal-Mart distribution centers on the East coast.
I was a truck driver from 1994 until September 2001. I drove for various companies during those years. Mostly as an over the road driver. J.B. Hunt was the last company I drove for. I was on their dedicated Wal-Mart fleet pulling centerpoint loads out of Bentonville, AR to Wal-Mart distribution centers throughout the country.
