Among them were Battalion Communications Chief and served as the Acting Battalion Communications Officer for eighteen months. Responsibilities included the planning and implementation of VHF, HF and SATCOM voice and digital communications plans for Artillery Battalion. Secondary assignment included the supervision of a platoon of 40 Marines and maintaining accountability for over 400 pieces of communications equipment.
