Began unloading, my work was so impressive I quickly began to work double and triple shifts and soon graduated to being a loader. I learned enough about loading to become a trainer when I started at the parts plant for General Motors.

    Fixed and ARM mortgages.
    Started as a cold-calling appointment setter, back when leads were on index cards and we had to call people on the phone. Then became an appointment setter for gold leads (proven to be solid leads), in a separate room from where I began.
    In both settings I had to remain on the phones for my entire shift so it was one call after the other, I had to make. A detailed explanation of why the Loan Officer was coming out to see them and what rates they were coming to show them. Defused volatile customer situations calmly and courteously.
Checker/Loader 11 years. Picker/Packer 2 years. Worked the line first 6 months., 10/1995 to 08/2009
General Motors – Bolingbrook, IL
Checker/Loader 11 years: checked and loaded heavy auto parts. Utilized BT hand-lift. metal bander, dolly, also trained in loading.
Picker/Packer 2 years: picked and packed smaller car parts to be loaded and shipped to dealerships. Used digital scales and scan guns.
Line worker, 6 months: I installed the fuel and brake lines on Tahoes and Suburbans with air guns.
