I have had the opportunity to learn several types of jobs, from cooking, cleaning, grounds work, mail room etc. while working for Western Michigan University for 17 years. Our jobs were outsourced to another agency so I moved on and switched careers. I also have years of experience in the Home Health Care field, along with many years as a Real Estate Agent. I currently have almost 3 years experience as a Leasing Agent for 3 different apartment complexes that I travel to everyday (I am actually by myself at 2 of the 3). I am dedicated to any company I have worked for, very good at prioritizing, multi-tasking, reliable and responsible.
In any job I have had, I have taken as many classes, seminars or conventions that were available to me. I go above and beyond to give the best performance possible to both the company and consumer.
I work by myself at 2 small properties, and help out a few days a week at another one of our larger properties to make up for full time hours. I am in charge of Leasing apartments, moving them in, moving them out, purchase orders, invoice coding, work orders, weekly box score reports, collecting residents rent and pretty much handling anything that may come up that needs tending too.
I worked in one of the restaurants and was in charge of the Buffet, along with other tasks such as invoices, money handling etc. Also helped out with Banquets, Bakery, Hot prep, Cold Prep or wherever it was needed.
I was paid through a private party for an elderly woman that needed 24 hr care. I was a live in from Monday-Wednesday. I prepared meals, cleaned her house, helped her bath, grocery shopped, helped her with her checking and paying her bills etc.
Responsible for my own clients. I was both a Buyer and Seller agent. I prepared my own paperwork, and followed through with closing my deals from start to finish. Manned the phones when necessary.
I was responsible for checking in and out all the guests, handling money, doing deposits, and helping in the kitchen, housekeeping, and even bartending when necessary.
I was the only one that came in the morning to work the breakfast and lunch shift. I was very reliable, dependable, and had to do the order and put away the shipments. A lot of multi tasking and time management.
Had many positions as a laborer, cooking which detailed following directions and cleanup, mail room in which I learned a lot about money handling, memorizing numbers etc., custodian/housekeeper where I cleaned in the dorms or classrooms, grounds maintenance consisted of making sure things were planted, weeded, mowing etc.
