  • Extensive knowledge and training on how to utilize Mechanical operated hoist, Air Pressurized Hoist - 1/2 ton, 1 ton, 1.5 ton, 2 ton, 3 ton, 5 ton, 8 ton, 10 ton, 12 ton, 15 ton, 30 ton, and 50 ton hoist.
  • Extensive knowledge and skills on how to appropriately use the various capacity Tuggets.

USS Abraham Lincoln - Removal and installation of 2 Rotors from the Main machinery room using 5 ton, 8 ton, 10 ton, and 12 ton Chain Hoist, 30 ton belly band capacity, out of the seating location with only 1/2 in clearance all around, out around and between other pieces of machinery with minimum clearance of 5 inches on both sides, up and over the reduction gear, across the engine room, to the hull cut and out of the engine room to the hangar bay for staging on the storage casing for removal and repair off the boat.

USS H.W. Bush - Successfully removal of 2 fire pump and motors, 8 circ pump and motors installation and removal, 12 valves installation and removal, 2 Steam head valves, use of critical non crane worksheet for electrical breakers, and nuclear breakers.
