I researched and developed a fertilizer protocol that improved the height of the seedlings by 40 % and caliper of the seedlings by 55% compared to the control. This improvement is being evaluated in the field production of pine seedlings to produce superior quality seedlings to the customers.
  • Reduced Production Costs. I lead a project that eliminated the need for expensive tissue culture media for germination of loblolly pine somatic embryos. This improved protocol is projected to decrease media costs for that particular process by 80%.
  • Wrote Technical Reports. I wrote technical research reports on all research projects I was responsible for.
