My ultimate goal is to one day be licensed physician like so many of your esteemed colleagues. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, her surgery to remove the affected tissue in her breast and in the surrounding tissue and all other procedures was supervised by her primary oncologist Dr. Robert Siegal, who is somewhat a hero to me and my family. After rounds of radiation and chemotherapy my mother went into a successful remission. Ever since that day I promised myself that I wanted to become a doctor that helped people like he helped my family. Staying up with us until the early hours in the morning during the early hours of the morning, explaining every little thing to us in laymen terms so me and my family could understand, he eventually became a part of our struggle and as the family of the patient going through something like that there is no better feeling in the world then your doctor being on your team during the fight. All I have ever wanted to do in life is become a doctor and make a difference on at least one family like Dr.Siegal did.
My extra-curricular activities include playing and watching all sports: Basketball, Football, Hockey, Baseball, Cricket. Volunteering my time to coach 6 of cousins youth sports teams including basketball, baseball, and soccer. Listening to music, and playing the guitar. Reading all kinds of novels, medical journals,
Fluent in English,Urdu, and Hindi. Conversational in Spanish and can understand, write, and conjugate Latin.
