Responsibilities included running daily QC, ensured lab test ordered correctly and results received in a timely manner , samples processed appropriately, drawing blood, running and reporting CBC and ensure patient is placed in appropriate area. Worked closely with 4 physicians to ensure patient's lab needs were met.
Duties included running daily QC on Cell dyn 1600, BAT, DOT physicals and drug screens and drawing blood. Crossed trained as Medical Assistant and limited X-Ray. Called patients back, documented complaints, helped with procedures and gave injections.
Worked in the Chemistry Department running various tests, which included HPLC methodology.
Transfered to Client Services in 1995. In charge of 6 accounts; ensured all account issues were addressed and resolved.
Hired directly out of school knowing hospital was being purchased; hospital closed. Worked in chemistry, hematology and microbiology.
