I receive, inspect, and check-in all raw materials coming in to the shop plus order all the tools and job materials from many different vendors.
I fill in for supervisor often and run the shop in his absence.
I put together all the new jobs for a busy Manufacturing machine shop by gathering blueprints, routing sheets, and all other relevant paperwork. I then schedule all our jobs to be ran on our 13 CNC Machines by date, raw material, and demand.
I get quotes from vendors on all tooling needed in shop as well as other necessities and fill out and submit paperwork for purchasing.
I take and order MSC orders daily.
I receive, accu-mag, check certs, put away, and log all raw materials coming into the shop
I use Microsoft Word and Excel to track and update all of our jobs on the shop floor.
I do attendance and assign all duties when Supervisor is away.
I was responsible for support a die casting room by cleaning, repairing and prepping dies with backplates, and opening up feeders and overflows on these dies on a bridgeport.
I also used the gundrill machine for waterlines and made screw plugs for dies on the manual lathe.
