Because of my professional career, I have become a strong communicator and have learned what it takes to be successful with individuals at all levels of an institution regardless of their position. I prefer meeting with individuals face-to-face because I find it to be the most effective way to communicate. I enjoy being in a leadership role and working with others to help move the institution forward.

I worked with vendors, faculty and staff to create the plans to determine what would work best for the faculty and staff. One part of the project had a short turn-around time and a budget of $100,000. That budget was met and on time. The remaining budget was for over $350,000 and we have been able to broaden the scope due efficient planning and money managing.
Work with Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Coordinator to determine needs of the high schools and how we can best address those. Also worked with Student Services to write Title III grants to provide students with materials necessary for the course.

Evaluated several faculty members during their probationary period or who were up for tenure or promotion. Served as Faculty Senate President from August 2009 to May 2012. I would conduct regular meetings with the faculty senate as well as separate monthly meetings with Administration in order to discuss policies and issues that impact the college. During the three years I worked with three different college presidents. I worked with a wide range of college employees and learned a great deal of how the college works and the goals of the college that I didn't get to see as a faculty member.
