Work History
09/2021 to Current Insider Marriott International | Koloa, HI,

I am a Insider at Domino's Pizza. What my responsibilities are at Domino's is

  • Making pizzas. I am tasked to make many different types of pizza of varying in size and style. Making the pizza can consist of me just putting toppings on the pizza or starting from the beginning with stretching the dough out, and then topping it.
  • Making sides. This would consist of making different types of foods. Ranging from putting wings (bone in or boneless) on a tray, to making things like pastas and sandwiches. I would also make bread sides like our bread bites, bread twists, and stuffed cheesy bread. More sides I would make consist of are our specialty chicken, chocolate lava crunch cakes, and our marble cookie brownies. Most of these items were premade so it was just more so setting them up for when they were ordered.
  • Prepping. This would consist of me either opening up the store or at least coming in the morning to prep the food and the store for costumers. Things I would do to prep would be making sure the makeline (which is where we made the orders for the costumers) has our sides and toppings stocked in the cabinets underneath of the makeline. Also stocking the middle section of the makeline with the toppings that would be immediately be using. More things that I would prep is bread sides like prepping bread sides and twists. How I would do it is by cutting up our pan dough (which was used for our pan pizzas, bread bites, and bread twists) into multiple small pieces and shaping them into twists or bites. Another thing I would do for prep is making sure we have enough money in our cash registers and turning everything on at the store such as the ovens, the heaters, and the computers. Sometimes I would also prep after dinner rush if things were beginning to slow down.
  • Cleaning. What I would do here is basically make sure the store is clean for the costumers and coworkers. Examples of this would be sweeping, mopping, wiping down the makeline, wiping down all the tables, washing the dishes, putting aprons and rags in the washing machine and dryer, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning out the ovens, throwing out carboard, throwing out the trash, etc.
  • Helping the costumers. This would entail me taking orders for the costumers, listening to complaints, answering their questions, handing them their food, going through their transactions with them, issuing refunds, and applying coupons for them.

05/2021 to 06/2021 Costumer Service Walgreens | City, STATE,

I was a costumer service associate at Walgreens. What I did was

  • Being a cashier. What this would basically entail is me ringing up costumers at the cash register. I would help them pay for the products they wanted to purchase. I would bag their merchandise and put it their carts or just hand it to them. I would also do refunds or exchanges for them.
  • Work at the photo counter. What this would consist of me doing is taking photo orders for costumers and handing it to them. I would also take orders of certain merchandise from Fedex at the counter and put it through the system. Another thing I would do there is take passport photos for costumers.
  • Stocking. This would just entail of me stocking either shelves, end caps, or the coolers with the merchandise that is supposed to go in those said areas. Another thing I would do when I am stocking is organizing the items to make sure they are all in the right place. If the item could not be stocked whether it be due to it not having a place for it in its given area or because the item is already filled to the brim, we would take the item in the back and label it as overstock. Overstock would usually try to get stocked in the evening to see if anything could go up.
  • Putting up tags. What I would do here is just set new price tags for items. Whether it just be me putting up a new price tag of the same price for the item or replacing it with a new tag of a different price. This was always done if the an item was on sale.
  • Unloading truck. This would just consist of me unloading merchandise from a truck that brought it to the store. We would put this merchandise on carts to be stocked later, leave them on metal racks in the backroom, or putting them on pallets.
  • Doing returns. I would just take items that were returned by the customer and bring them back to their respective area.
  • Taking online orders. What I would do hear is take online orders for costumers. I would basically shop for them and have their order ready for them when they arrive. After that the costumer would either come in to grab the order or I would go out tp give them the order.
  • Give out propane tanks. What I would do hear is if a costumer paid for a propane tank. I would go outside of the store and give them a propane tank. Sometimes I would switch out a empty tank that they brought with a full one along with the purchase.
  • Organize shopping carts. What I would do hear is just take shopping carts left outside and bring them back in the store, putting them back to the area they belong in.
  • Helping the costumer in general. This is just general tasks I would do to help the costumer. Such as talking to them on the phone, helping costumers find a certain item they want, answering their questions, showing them what the price of an item is, unlocking restricted items that they need, and even helping them load their merchandise into their vehicles.
  • Cleaning the store. This would entail me just doing task like sweeping and mopping the floor, vacuuming the front of the store, wiping the counters and tables, etc.
  • Training new associates. While it was technically not in my job description, managers or shift leads would ask me to train a new associate if we got one. I would just show them the ropes and teach them whatever they needed to know to be successful at the establishment.
11/2020 to 05/2021 Load Handler FedEx:Ground | City, STATE,

I was a load handler at Fedex:Ground. My responsibilities at the job were

  • Loading the truck. Essentially what I would do hear is take packages that needed to be loaded from the line and scan them. Then I would load them into the truck in a neat and organized way so that the packages were stable. That way the packages would not fall and potentially hurt a worker and/or damage the items in the package.
  • Unload the truck. Basically what I would do here is take packages out of said trucks and send them down the line. Those packages would end up going to different trucks to be loaded in.
  • Working on the line. What I would do is work on the line by taking packages off said line and put them on another line that leads to the truck. That way the loader can get the packages and put them in the truck.
  • Jammer. What I would do as a jammer is making sure the packages on the line (conveyor belt) were as organized as they possibly can be, so the line does not get jammed.
  • Cleaning. Fedex had a cleaning crew so they did most of the cleaning. But if I saw any scraps or anything that needed to be cleaned. I would usually clean it if I had the chance.
05/2017 to 11/2020 CAP 2 Associate Walmart | City, STATE,

When I used to work at Walmart I was a CAP 2 associate. CAP 2 essentially just means afternoon - evening stocker. Though at a certain point I switched to the morning shift but I was technically still labeled as a CAP 2 associate. The responsibilities I had at Walmart was

  • Stocking merchandise. What I did there would be taking merchandise from a pallet or cart and placing it in the aisle or area it was supposed to be in.
  • Zoning aisles. Which essentially means making the items in the aisles look presentable.
  • Unloading the Truck. What I would be doing here is taking merchandise out of the truck and organizing the items to a pallet or cart. That way when the truck is done I could take said pallet or cart to the right aisle to stock said merchandise in, without it being a hassle.
  • Helping Customers. Basically I would just be helping the customers with whatever needed. For example if they needed help finding a certain item I would help them with that. Or if they needed me to grab something off the shelf for them I would do that.
  • Cleaning. Walmart has a maintenance position but if you made the mess it was your responsibility to clean it up unless a manager or supervisor said otherwise.
  • Taking online orders. Now this was not necessarily a part of my job title, but whenever OGP (Online Grocery Pickup department) was getting overwhelmed with orders. They would sometimes ask me and other workers to come help clean out these orders till the department and that team could handle it on their own.
  • Organizing Grocery carts. This technically was not in my job title either, but sometimes when the cart pushers were getting swamped with too many carts to bring back, or when staff for the cart pushers were low, or when the cart pushers were on lunch. The front end manager of the store would ask associates from other departments to help grab carts till we had a comfortable amount for the customers to grab and use.
  • Training associates. While this was another thing that was not in my job titles description. Managers or Supervisors would sometimes ask me or other coworkers to train new associates. This would just be showing them how to stock or how to unload a truck. Or whatever they needed to be taught that we knew.
