From March 2013 to January 1, 2014, I was working on a ICD-10 MMIS update at Clemson. Prior to that, I worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC for 11 years. I've worked on multiple complex projects and worked with internal users to solve business problems using available and emerging technologies. Many of my projects focused on HIPAA mandates, Membership/Eligibility, BlueCross BlueShield of SC and BlueCross BlueShield Association mandates and support of electronic claims processing between BSA members. I am a well-rounded IT professional with testing and QA experience in addition to programming and analysis and an excellent team player with impeccable integrity. Although I have the ability to understand technology and act as technical advisor, I can also work with users, other QA people and management in business language. I have a variety of Medicaid, Health Care, and Insurance applications experience and an awareness of MITA and relevant regulations. As documented on my resume, I have completed a variety of relevant training, including working with agile principles such as development and testing in sprint. My technical lead experience on some projects at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina has enhanced my people, communication and analytical skills.
