Provide professional casework, supervision, and oversee reimbursement of Federal Government Title IV-E Grant Funding for the Juvenile Department, in which youth being placed, may be eligible, thus allowing the Juvenile Department to be reimbursed with Federal funds, (who will reimburse up to 58% of actual costs of placing youth).
Thus, CUTTING cost of placement for the Juvenile Department, enabling the County to use funds for other needs in a variety of areas, including additional services for youth, raises and higher wages with new hires which would not usually be available.
