Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control is a division of the City of Fort Wayne's Public Safety.
It is a full access shelter which provides homes for thousands of homeless animals.
the shelter also ensures public health and safety and works towards preventing pet overpopulation, animal neglect, and animal cruelty through education, rescue, and law enforcement.
Responsibilities included the following: Preparing, analyzing and reporting data and performing administrative duties.
My daily duties included receiving visitors, answering phones, responding to phone & e-mail queries, office filing, typing, copying and faxing of administrative letters, memos and other correspondence, maintaining monthly reports such as website hits and department's monthly report, writing reports and articles for the website, writing thank you letters, and maintaining the Education Center and taking on any additional projects assigned to me.
