As a former Vandegrift student, I enjoyed being around administrative offices, but more specifically the guidance office. I enjoy helping students find the answers to their questions. I had been a student aide my Junior and Senior year, so I was always around other peers, teachers, and administrative employees.
After a long year of not knowing what I wanted to do when I go to college, I had finally found my life calling. I wanted to go in to guidance and counseling, but hopefully I will get the chance to specialize more and become a transition coordinator. I know that going into such a field will require some serious discipline, teaching for two-three years and achieving a Master's degree, but I am willing to do anything and everything to make sure that I succeed. I know that without a doubt that this is something that I want to do with my life.
I am a leader, not a follower. I take charge and make sure things happen. I like to help others succeed. I also like to seek other peer's advice or input on matters that I need help with and vice versa. I am efficient, organized and punctual. I am always willing to led a helping hand.
