In high school I was the Jones County High FFA secretary for 4 years. This job title put me in charge of attending meetings and recording all important information said, making and planning schedules for all meetings and festivities. I was in charge of keeping records of all members, past and present, and all of their accomplishments. I was an area 3 winner two years in a row and a state of Ga winner once. I absolutely loved this position and it broke my heart when I graduated.
Now that I have worked in different restaurant environments it has taught me how to adapt quickly and work at a fast and smooth pace. Working in the food industry also teaches you how to work under pressure and in a time efficient manner. All of my jobs have taught me wonderful people skills and how to interact with customers on a daily basis.
I absolutely love this job! I work in a wonderful environment with wonderful coworkers and customers. I haven't worked here very long but I have developed wonderful bonds with my co-workers brought that will always be with me. This job held me accountable for team work, good communication skills, leadership roles, and how to take the high road. The wonderful people I work with make the good days great and the bad days even better. Everyone that I work with makes my job so much easier by the way we all work together and communicate greatly.
The Velvet Elvis is a grill and bar. With that being said servers were in charge of a lot of daily task all over the restaurant. Servers were in charge for everything for a table. Their duties also included greeting and welcoming patrons, serving, cleaning after, taking to go orders, mobile delivery orders, running food, food prep, and bar prep. We worked in a very high volume restaurant which taught me how to prosper under pressure and how to multi task under a stressful environment.
This job required me to learn over 300 juices and merchandise. I also had to work closely with our vendors in order to place orders and pull in new merchandise. At this store we worked a lot of singular shifts which meant i was the only employee at the store. I was in charge of all cleaning task and any thing that happened while I was there.
This was my very first job out of high school. This was a wonderful summer job that taught me how to run a business. At this location we were a very small store with only 3 employees. I worked 6 days a week with 40 or more hours. I was mainly in charge of your typical store cleaning and daily duties. Such as sweeping, mopping, stocking, fixing inventory, and selling merchandise. I was also in charge of putting away all new orders, taking inventory every Monday morning, and opening the store every morning. Since I worked alone this taught me how to manage my time efficiently and how to run a business and fix any problems that come up.
Hi! My name is Logan Bryant. I am 1 of 10 children and I am the only girl! I was raised in Gray and later moved to Milledgeville 11 years ago to my families ancestral home (circa 1913). I attended Jones County public school systems my whole life. I grew up with a male based influence due to all my brothers which I believe made me grow to be a very well rounded young women with many talents. My FFA background taught me how to have great speaking skills, wonderful people and communication skills, and a very diverse personality which helps me get along with just about anyone. I joined the FFA club at my high school when I was a freshman. When I joined this club I had no idea how it would shape my life. This organization taught me so much; not only about agriculture but about public relations. I was taught how to record information, speak properly to the public, engage in conversation about a specific topic, and how to work from people all over the world. Since high school I have worked with public one on one since. I have a huge passion for working with public and helping people daily. I can't wait to offer you my talents and work with your business and your valued customers.
