  • Maintained updated in our Catholic Faith through workshops, reading some of the latest documents of Pope Francis, Bible Study, retreats, aswell as different news media sights, among others.
  • Earned reputation for creative and diligent work.
  • In an effort to reach out to our youth at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, I helped create a youth group with excellent response in attendance. As a result, teens became more involved in the life of the church, developed leadership skills, and were promoted to other areas of ministry and volunteer work.
  • Upon my arrival, I was asked to help our choir with singing skills, and proper selection of liturgical music for Holy Mass. Soon we started having regular practice once a week. As a result, the choir grew as the youth joined. Moreover, we saw the interest of some to learn how to play the guitar and so we started a couple of lessons. From those lessons, two learned and lead the choir thereon.
  • Having been a religious sister provided me with the ability for teem work in ministry providing genuine nurture of our Catholic Faith and integral growth to those we served according to their needs.
  • I always sought to provide excellent service and attention to those we served directly, over the phone conversations, or through home visits.
  • Learned to listen to the real needs of those we serve as well as to be creative in transmitting our faith and values to all ages.
  • Created and organized agendas and communication materials for team meetings.
  • I performed evaluations through a survey questionnaire for our youth group. This provided us with knowledge regarding the needs that were and were not being met, as well as how effective did our ministry promoted their sense of belonging, and their active participation in the church.

  • Organized a young adult group where continued faith formation and active participation in the life of the Church was possible. As a result, several became small youth group leaders, catechists, perpetual adorers, and ushers.
  • In order to provide the possibility for a more confident interaction between our Spanish speakers with the rest of our community, I worked together with a non-profit organization to make available free English classes for our people.
