I am interested in the position of Region Campus Testing Coordinator because I think this would be a great opportunity to help other educators. Along with my extensive assessment background I have a strong work ethic, strong organizational skills, and desire to achieve at a high level would make me a strong candidate for this position.
I have been in education for twenty-five years. I started as an instructional aid in the classroom and realized I wanted to be a teacher. I was a classroom teacher for ten years at the elementary level. In 2000 I started working as a school counselor and have worked on the elementary and secondary level. I have also served as Reading Coach, G/T District Coordinator, and Dyslexia District Coordinator. In my current job as the high school counselor at Chapel Hill High School I have many responsibilities including campus testing coordinator. This is my fifth year serving in that role. Because of my varied experience, I think I would be able to identify and work with both elementary and secondary teachers easily.
