I have been a supervisor in the building maintenance field for many years. I performed preventative maintenance on HVAC systems from 1 ton air conditioners up to 250 ton chillers and necessary, water towers, pumps and equipment. I have repaired or replaced all sorts of plumbing and electrical fixtures in residential and commercial properties.Basically all jobs relating to maintenance and minor construction.
Perform road maintenance with use of heavy equipment such as 5 and 10 yard dump trucks ,rollers, loaders, brooms, bobcat and attachments and some experience with back hoes and road maintainers and distributor. Also have operated snow plows attached to 5 and 10 yard dump trucks with salt spreaders attached. Performed all necessary paper work required by the state of New Mexico. I have taken and successfully passed all necessary classes also required by the state of New Mexico.

Helped to renovate and maintained a five story building which was an old cigar factory in Charleston S.C. I was responsible for construction and changing from an old air washer system to cold water coil system. I had as many as 8 people working under my supervision at one time. I worked with engineers and contractors and after getting past the initial construction stage, had 4 permanent employees who assisted me in various preventative maintenance programs that I set up for HVAC systems and other building issues including sprinkler system tests and other safety and alarm issues. I posted necessary MSDS sheets. Whatever plumbing, electrical and all maintenance issues that arose I was responsible for carrying out the repairs.
Installed tail fins and rudders on small Piper aircraft . Torqued bolts and called for inspections and then safety wired bolts and assisted other installations such as headliners, dashboard, doors and baggage doors seats and helped with riveting skins and fuselage.
I started as a grinder and worked my way into the Quality Assurance Department where we did non destructive test on welds of off shore oil rigs and liquefied natural gas spheres. Tests included layouts and then hanging film and taking radiographies of welds to assure quality bonding to tie in plates and sub assemblies to make up off shore oil rigs and LNG spheres that were then mounted on ships. Using sources of iridium and in some instances, X-ray machines and developed film for inspection.
I spent a little more than a year in the classroom and shop where I learned to service and install HVAC/R systems and equipment. I learned to diagnose and R&R components or equipment.
