Public Works Department Engineering Naval Station Newport - Newport, RI - January 2011 to
In this position I was responsible for scheduling jobs within the Utilities Department's everyday Preventive
Maintenance work as well as all Emergency Service Calls performed. Taking on daily calls and developing
Work Orders and distributing them throughout the various sections of the Utilities Department. This position
required me to oversee all service calls by entering each call into the NAVFAC Maximo system and later
completing them out when the work is completed. Would also track all Preventive Maintenance calls on a
daily basis as well. Was responsible for creating purchase orders for all sections of the departments from
the Engineering, Steam Distribution, Water Distribution, Sewer Distribution as well as Electrical Distribution.
Dealing with the various supervisors and suppliers in making sure the proper materials and labors were
ordered. Created and tracked various
purchase orders in the ordering of work performed by outside contractors as well. In this position I was required
to perform daily inspections of the various Utilities distribution sections. Inspecting the various sections in

Was the Hazardous Material Coorddinator for the Utilities Department. Ordering all hazardous materials in
