A second year counseling psychology student at University of Louisville. Currently work as a graduate assistant coach with UofL Women's Rowing Team; my primary responsibilities include coaching, travel planning, official visits and event management. Have received my undergraduate degree in psychology from University of Louisville. During my undergraduate career I was a student-athlete in rowing and worked as an academic tutor for UofL Men's Basketball Team. Between college and graduate school worked as a youth counselor at Maryhurst, residential facility for teenage girls with mental and emotional dysfunctions which developed because of history of past physical and emotional abuse and neglect. My primary responsibilities included assisting the girls to consistently hold on to the structure determined by the organization, teaching them coping strategies and healthy social skills, mentoring and helping to set behavioral goals, conducting educational groups, as well as keeping the milieu safe for staff and residents.
