Out of high school I worked at a garage door company installing and servicing. Then I went to work at a mechanical company where I went through the apprenticeship program and became a Journeyman in my field. I finished the program the as the distinguish student of the state of Iowa. During the time I was enrolled in school I also worked evening and weekends at Sears and became a level 2 mechanic in their program. Sense school I have became certified as a lead safe renovator, I am a S.A.V.E. certified contractor. I also have taken classes on and certified in refrigeration, Geothermal, Hydronics, system design, sales, marketing and project managing. I am currently in sales and I manage the project I sell from start to finish.

I was a fence installer at first then I moved up to installing residential garage doors. After about a year of residential work I was promoted to a supervisor position on the commercial projects. I finished my time at the company servicing commercial doors and openers.
I started as a sheet metal apprentice and was a commercial and residential installer. Once I got my journeyman licenses I started running projects. Currently I am the residential and small commercial sales man and project manager. I see the project from design to finished product. I do all the designing and bidding. Then I over see the crew during the installation process.
I started out as a chair lift operator and helped guest onto the lift chairs. Then I became a snowboarder and used my knowledge to help out the first time skiers and snowboarders on the hill. We started a free ski and snowboard lessons so people would enjoy and have a good experience. They still have the program today.
This was a night and weekend job to make ends meet when I was in school. I mainly did oil changes, battery replacements and tire replacements. When I got to the second level of the training I could replace most bolt on parts of the car.
Finished top in the state of Iowa as the distinguished grad for the year 2007. I got second in state for the hands on competition for sheet metal lay out and installation. Prefect attendance throughout my 4 years of school.
Worked at Sears on nights and weekends and during this time they put me through there automotive training program. This allowed me to change out water pumps alternators and most bolt on parts of the automobile.
I was a unit armor for 4 years in the National Guard. Then I went into being a supply Clerk which I took on the responsibility of becoming a sling load instructor.
