GAME WORKER
Highlights
Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, etc. I know how to use just about any modern devices including phones, tablets, and computers regardless of the brand such as Apple, Windows,
Experience
July 2014 to Current
  • Usher, Contemporary Services Corporation.
  • This was my first job.
  • I work at the Gwinnett Arena, Georgia Dome, UGA, Georgia Tech, etc.
  • as crowd control.
  • We are essentially a type of security, we make sure everyone finds their seats, remains under control, finds anything they need, and stays out of areas they aren't supposed to be in.
  • I work usually in one of three places: Deadwood (where patrons aren't supposed to be), Usher (showing people their seats), or Floor Access (allowing people who should be on floor to the floor and showing them their seats).
  • My favorite position is floor access because I meet a lot of different people, and I've made a few friends from it.
  • My greatest accomplishment is ensuring that the patrons have a great experience.
  • One of the best nights was recently when I worked on the floor and was able to move a few people from my section up to a closer section which happened to be in front of a runway stage where Taylor Swift was performing.
  • It made their night.
  • Some nights I have to help people who are heavily intoxicated, lost, or just in need of a way home, but it's always an interesting job for me.
Game Worker
September 2015 to October 2015
Gwinnett County Fair & Georgia State Fair
  • I recently worked for a couple who own games at fairs for about three weeks.
  • It was a very interesting learning experience.
  • I worked in the duck pond, also known as Bubble Duckies or Lucky Ducks.
  • You really have to learn how to sell your game and make people want to play.
  • My favorite part is seeing kids' faces light up whenever they win because sometimes it's their first time winning at any of the games and it's truly precious.
  • It was definitely a new environment for me, but I learned how to talk to people better and how to do stock.
House Cleaner
June 2015 to Current
  • I've spent the last few months helping my mom clean houses and condos in and around Dothan, Al.
  • It's really awesome to work with my mom and I've learned a lot about cleaning, especially how to clean granite, stainless steel, and wood floors.
  • It's hard to clean houses, but it's been a really great experience for me.

Education
High School Diploma : May 2014Dacula High School
May 2019Oglethorpe University

Interests
Community Service Chair, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America My last year of high school I was nominated as the Community Service Chair {CSC} of an after school club that I had been a part of since my sophomore year. As the CSC, I organized community service events. One of my main accomplishment was organizing a Teens for Jeans drive at Dacula High. It really impacted our school and made a lot of people realize that there were other teens who were homeless and living without proper clothing for the winter. We didn't get tons of pair of pants, maybe one thousand, but the point was that we were able to raise awareness. July 2011-July 2014 Counselor in Training & Counselor, Camp Ache Away
Personal Information
For three years I volunteered with Camp Ache Away at Camp Twin Lakes in Fort Yargo. My first two years I was a Counselor in Training {CIT} and my third year I was a Counselor. I love working with children and this has always been one of my greatest accomplishments. While volunteering there I was able to teach kids about their arthritis, make friends, and learn how to be a better leader. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I overcame my fear of heights my second year because the group of girls I had in my cabin begged me to do the rock climbing wall, and they were so supportive. Two other girls showed me the meaning of giving and used all 40 of their "fair" tickets to get me a stuffed panda. These are some of the most selfless people I have ever met, and it really changed my perspective on life. September 2011

September 2011 Bike Racker, MS Society For two years I volunteered with the MS Society bike rides in Callaway Gardens and the last one they had in Atlanta. My main job was to rack bikes when people came in from the race. It may seem like an unimportant job, but some of these people are so grateful to have someone else putting their bike up for them, especially the riders that have MS. People continuously told me that they were happy to have someone like me taking care of their expensive bikes and watching out for their other things. It was a nice opportunity being able to learn who people were riding for and how MS had impacted their lives. 2006-2009 Volunteer, Houston County Animal Shelter & Dothan Humane Society I spent many years volunteering at the animal shelter in Dothan, Al with my sister. We fed dogs, cleaned up after them, bathed them, and even fostered a few when they were injured.
