I am a highly motived person who loves working and guiding youth in their futures. I am focused and dedicated in guiding youth in their pursuit of strong characters through positive programs and life choices. I am passionate about the kids and adamant about proving a safe environment where young people can find out how strong they really who they are.
I am responsible for the communication and customer service with parents and guest through membership intake, finances and informational forms to parents. I run an organized front desk by answering phones, the intaking kids & their belongs, running reports, ordering and receiving supplies and supporting club wide organizational programs. I mentor and motivate students that come to the club after school.
As Business Manger, I process camper paperwork, managed budgets and purchase supplies for programs. I managed and ran the camp trading post. I provided customer service to campers, parents and staff through support for programs provided. I functioned as a team member to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Girl Scouts organization.
As a Teen Specialist, I assisted the Teen Director with youth ages 12-18 in participating in the YMCA after school program and the Teen Summer Program. I co-managed in expanding a successful after school program as Teen Nights, Cultural Opportunities, Conflict Management and Community Service. I consulted in identifying students that were likely to engage in at rick behavior. As Site Supervisor, I supervise 1-2 grade basketball and soccer games and 3-6 baseball and softball games. As Referee, I refereed 3-4 grade vollyball.
I was the Program Director for two consecutive summers ( Summer of 2005 & 2006). I oversaw the organizing, coordinating and scheduling of most of the daily activities at camp for staff and campers. I supervised staff and assisted directors with various projects. I managed a large budget and provided leadership and guidance to campers and staff on a daily basis.
