  • I founded LSI Images in Erlanger, KY, the menu board division of LSI Industries in Cincinnati, OH.

  • Within 5 years we had 40% of the menu board market in the US and were very profitable.
  • I led LSI into the digital signage business.
  • My last 2 years at LSI Images I designed and sold a new drive-thru menu board that was installed at all the McDonald's restaurants.

  • The company had been losing money and accumulated a large amount of debt.
  • I developed new product lines that made the company profitable.
  • We paid off the debt and sold the company.

  • Employed by American Sign and Marketing Services in Florence, KY, as a Cost Estimator, Sales Engineer and Product Development Specialist, Then as the V.P.
  • of Sales and Marketing.
  • While there I developed many products in the menu board and display industry still being used today, such as: 1.
  • The first "Lift and Drop" menu board panel system and later received a patent on an aluminum adjustable panel system.

  • The first drive-thru in a Quick Serve Restaurant chain.
  • 3.
  • The first order confirmation system to be used in a QSR drive-thru.
  • 4.
  • The first indoor digital menu board.

  • Served 3 years on active duty in the US Army Corps of Engineers (1 year in Viet Nam) as a Training Officer, Platoon Leader and Company Commander, attaining the rank of Captain.
