I am an ambitious, driven, and quick-witten lifelong student. Because of my background in Legal Studies from my minor, I have become adept with creating/understanding case briefs, and I understand the importance of reading understanding analyzing legislation with a critical eye. I've recently become better introduced to analytical/informal thinking, and have become more privy to persuasive diction and phraseology, skills which I believe can be integral to the profession of law.
Ipic's location in the River Oaks area introduced me to my first luxury-upscale working environment. I originally applied as a server, but they felt I was unprepared for that responsibility and hired me as a food runner instead. Although I worked vigorously to improve my potential as a server, it was conflicting for management to train and promote me as I was one of the best food runners; for that reason I left with plans to return as a server.
My duties as a runner included:
Honeysuckle was a Mom&Pop business with 5 employees (including owners) in Brenham, TX. So while the traffic of the restaurant was low, I was able to hone my skills in professional service by focusing on each task and guest with intent to transfer back to iPic.
I came back to iPic as a Server after learning and applying the skills from working as a Server at Honeysuckle Bistro.
Although this isn't technically normal servicing, I attended the same school district I am now CT'ing for, from my own 3-12 primary school career, so this work is extremely important to me.
