I have been very active in my children's schools. I was PTO president, Booster club president, assisted teachers on field trips and in the classroom. I implemented an athletic league for middle school students to participate in sports. The league provided access for participation in cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheer leading, tennis and golf. I also have been the chairperson for several fund raising efforts. The St. Michaels funfair raising $35,000. The Capital campaigns for St. Michael Catholic Church 1998, 2007 & 2011 raising over $3 million combined.
While raising my 4 children I have been the treasurer and bookkeeper for my husband's business, Growth Technologies, Inc. Most recently, I have taught PE and Health at Belmont Middle School for Gaston County Schools.
