I have been employed by the State of Oregon since June 19, 1989. I have attained the position of Facility Energy Technician IV. Responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of a networked system of low voltage HVAC and lighting control systems for approximately 31 facilities.located throughout the state of Oregon. I have worked extremely hard and have been a loyal employee to the State of Oregon but now feel that a change is necessary in my career. I am an extremely hard worker with a high degree of work ethic and at this point of my life would like to dedicate my skills to a facility where I can focus on high quality work, reducing energy usage and enjoying my job.
I started out in the HVAC Controls field retrofitting old pneumatic control systems to new DDC systems with little experience. Over the years I have accomplished many successful upgrades of high quality with probably my greatest accomplishment being the total upgrade of the State of Oregon Archives building from pneumatic to 100% Digital control.

My Primary responsibility was the maintenance and repair of the Palmer Research facility mechanical, science, kitchen and other mechancial systems required to keep Station systems operational. Gained experience working on reverse osmosis water purification systems.Other duties required providing assistance to the various science groups in their related studies.
I was employed by the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel as a maintenance engineer responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the hotels mechanical and kitchen systems along with grounds and room maintenance
I was employed by the City of Portland, Oregon to provided uniformed Security Agent duties at events covered at the Memorial Coliseum complex and the Portland Civic Stadium complex (Mainly sporting events, concerts, and trade shows).
I was assigned to the 2nd Squadron of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Bad Kissingen, West Germany. Primary responsibility was patrol of the East/West German Demarcation line. Honorably discharged in March of 1981
Primary course of study was HVAC/Refrigeration, control systems but we also spent a consideral time into alternative energy sources such as geothermal power, solar power, wind power and other alternative energy sources
