Transferred to UHS in February in order to fulfill my duties more efficiently as the UHS Larriettes Interim Director.

Prepared the girls in 8 weeks for competition in at the MA Dance Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas by working with the captain to choreograph a Pom and Kick dance, guided the officers during the choreography of the Military dance and  polished and perfected all 4 routines  . 

The Larriettes received 1st place in all 4 categories- Pom, Jazz, Kick and Military. 
 
UMS Teacher and Maverettes Director 06/1999 to 05/2012
 UISD – United Middle School
  • Won many 1st places in local, regional and National competitions throughout in Pom, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Kick categories.
  • Competed against many Texas middle & high schools and garnered 1st place to participate in a halftime performance during the San Antonio Spurs Game in 2011 and 2012.
  • Earned a top score at the American Dance South Padre Island Middle School Competiton and invited to perform at the ADSPI High School competition.
  • Earned National Title Jackets at the Showtime competition.
  • Earned National Title Jackets at the MA Dance Nationals competition.
  • Was invited by NBC to audition for America's Got Talent in February 2011.

Bachelor in Exercsie and Sports Science: Dance May 1998 Texas State University - San Marcos, Texas Teaching Certificates held in: Dance, Reading, ESL and currently applying for a certificate in 8-12 English.
Additional Information

2012 - Present - Coach of the elite Infinity Dance Team - All American Dance Studio. Received many 1st places in the last two years and recently garnered the coveted bid to USASF World's Dance competiton at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The team recieved a partially paid bid. They are the first Laredo team to earn an opportunity to compete at this event.
