I began as a volunteer EMT student receiving WA State certification May 2002. I then started helping with and learning the billing process prior to enrolling in an accredited billing program. I received my Diploma in July 2006. I have completely upgraded the complete billing system to be compliant with the current ICD9 Electronic Billing standards. During this time I was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief of Operations - 2nd in command and began receiving a part-time wage. I went through Advanced Emergency Medical Technician training and received WA State certification in May 2007. I am continuing with all ambulance billing, review of all Medical Incident Reports, inventorying all medical supplies and placing purchase orders for restocking, answer phone calls, customer service to walk in clients, send out a yearly mass mailing of over 300, teaching Medic First Aid/CPR classes for the public as scheduled, run the office in the Chiefs absence, while as necessary responding to ambulance calls providing care and transport of the sick and injured as necessary as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
Provide customer service to newspaper subscribers and carriers of Dixie, Waitsburg, Dayton, and Pomeroy. Delivering newspaper bundles, missed papers and dealing with collection issues.
Managed the receptionist area, including greeting visitors and responding to telephone and in-person requests for information. Sold and properly receipted sales of 4H materials. Printed, folded, stuffed or stapled and mailed all 4H and Ag Extension mass mailings.
