Professional Summary

A unique career background describes my Professional history. I am seeking a position as an School Counselor or Mental Health Counselor. I have been employed  in a school setting for 25 years in a positive progressive school district. I consider myself very flexible as to wear many hats such as: Elementary teacher, Special Education teacher, Occasional Principal administrative role, event organizer among countless other roles that a counselor in a small district must assume. Mental Health Counselor with skill in leadning situation specific counseling sessions. Expertise in in working with children and adults in prevention and crisis. My primary goal is to utilize my counseling,medical, mental health and education expertise as to benefit the lives of children and families.

Secondly,I have worked several "second "jobs as a Unit Coordinator, Unit Secretary and Med Flight Dispatch/Emergency Room Secretary.  Familiar with stress management, defusing violent situations, entering data into Epic and other systems during life threatening and chaotic situations.  Experience with positive communication, billing, medical terminology, inventory, problem solving, new technology found in hospitals, and filing.
