Maintain compliance to the TJC-The Joint Commission through management of the EOC (Environment of Care) and LS (Life Safety) chapters. Uses discretion and independent judgment in organizing and directing staff and vendors regarding regulatory compliance and management quality assurance activities and programs.
Creates a safe work environment for staff by ensuring adherence to all safety policies and procedures practices. Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards, as directed by companies management specifically in the areas of Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety Code and Management Plans. Manages and maintain/related TJC documentation for the EOC Chapters. Coordinate EOC-LS inspection and test for building equipment. Maintain documentation for testing, assist with tracking and closing deficiencies derived from inspections. Participate in audit and surveys. Provide support with document presentation.
Coordinate Environmental Rounds and maintain data reportable to the EOC Committee, in cooperation with the EOC Committee, directs an ongoing organizational process to collect information about deficiencies and opportunities for Improvement in the Environment of Care (EOC) and Life Safety (LS) program. Record EOC Committee meeting minutes.
Create and process purchase orders, ensure proper financial coding, verify expenses are accurately reported for each accounting close. Maintain financial reports, open purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice reconciliation, invoice discrepancies, unmatched logged vouchers.
Utilizes technologies with different programs, work order, preventive maintenance, vendor management and financial programs. Proficient in MS programs. Possess strong analytic skills. Experience working in a matrix management model. Excellent interpersonal skills.
