I am a quick learner at anything that I get my hands on. From detailing floors, to machinery, to construction. All of which I have been paid for. I am looking to add one more skill to the list that I am most interested in. Any form of electrical installation. Looking for the right people who are willing to train me and want to use my strong work ethics to better their company. I would consider myself very charismatic and would adapt to any environment I'm thrown in.
I am currently a drywall finisher who works part time. I plan on keeping this job in the background when ever I am needed on my days off because I have a passion for the work.
I worked at this company spraying popcorn/knockdown texture on the ceilings of houses. I used it as my starting point to learning drywall before I got an opportunity to advance.
I qualified for what was considered the most difficult seasonal job at the local Home Depot. We worked viciously through the nights for four months to keep their most prized area for sales (the garden) opening day ready for the following day. Here I was forklift certified, electric standing certified, and cherry picker certified.
I worked for this company for two years learning various different things. Started out just doing basic clean up five nights a week. Then I was introduced to flooring where we would polish, strip, and wax the floors. Created a nice crew to go along with us and it resulted in a very enjoyable year.
