I started out as a press operator where I was responsible for safety inspection of the press ,safe operation and reading work instructions for proper procedure and weight and pattern placement on the mold. I operated a 4000 ton press down to a 250 ton for several years I was one of the plant trainers. I trained new hires on safety items such as PPE, safe operation of hand tools and equipment pertaining to the job they would be working. Assisted the engineers on mold trials and assembly procedures for new jobs coming to the plant. I also worked as a Quality inspector. I was responsible for calibrating and trouble shooting the CNC machines. Reviewed inspector audit sheets reacted promptly to dimensional issues thru customer concerns. Communicated quality concerns to shop floor associates and followed up on corrective actions. Then for a while before the plant closed I was an area manager. I was responsible for 32 associates assigning jobs, held daily safety meetings and made sure they were trained in proper procedure of the jobs I assigned to them. I work harmoniously with all associates even those wiyh difficult personalities,
