have been working with Best Buy for nearly seven years now, three of them
with geek squad. I have
a lot about Geek Squad systems and SOP. I have held many roles inside of Geek Squad whether they were customer facing or not I have gained invaluable lessons from each role I have held. I can confidently hook up a 5.1 speaker system or network someones whole house which a couple years ago is something I never thought I would know how to do. Every day I go to work for Geek Squad I feel the need to learn more to become better at my job.

In the first year of being in the field I have only taken two passive surveys and no detractors.
Lead the USO in survey take rate as well as promoters having no detractors or passive surveys for the first ten months in the field.
Helped lower the Back of Precinct que from 12-14 days to 1-3 days. This helped our Precinct's turn time go from two weeks down to a couple days.
Reached revenue goals of 120-150% for the eighteen months I was a Counter Agent.

Double Agent - CovertGeek Squad － Saratoga Springs, NY
Set up, tested and configured networks, desktops, laptops and printers for residential and business clients.
Maintained a large array of clients covering one hundred miles.
Worked with many elderly clients taking the time to explain to them how all of their devices work in their home on their network.
Handled a multitude of issues over the phone saving potential redo in house calls.
Worked with setting up, programming and maintaining Home Theater equipment three sometimes four days a week.
Helped teach out the PC skill sets and networking skill sets to other Home Theater Agents in our USO
Assisted clients from another Best Buy when other Agents were busy with days out.
Worked with another DA-PC Agents in the area to help fix and handle issues they might have come across.
Before leaving the ARA role I was able to train two ARA's. One part time ARA who quickly became full time and another Full-Time CA who was transitioning into Full-Time ARA.

Helped take a Que which typically sat around 12-14 days down to 3-4 days in the first month I stepped into this role.
Continued to help maintain a large Que of computers for four days continuously for months after. After stepping into this role I was the senior Agent in our precinct.
I took it upon me to help train everyone in our precinct on the different tools we have access to do repairs with so we can do repairs quickly and carefully. Being able to step away from the front counter a little bit has helped me have more time to not only train the Agents in the store but our computer associates as well.
Our computer associates will come up to me with questions about selling our in home services.
Being someone who knows our in home services inside an out I can give clients accurate advice on our in home service while communicating with them online.

Helped lead a precinct that was struggling to hit revenue goals of 80-90% to consistently reaching revenue goals of 120-150% for the eighteen months I was a Counter Agent.
Maintained a large Que of clients in store on a daily basis helping multiple clients at a time to keep the lines down respectably.
Helped various aspects of the precinct while being a Counter Agent.
I was able to help the Operation Agent with much of there responsibilities.
I would do a majority of the shipping, receiving and functionality checks on a daily basis while maintaining the Que of clients stopping in store. I spent a lot of time helping train our other agents on the various selling skills I acquired working in computers. This helped our precinct reach our max bonus seventeen out of the eighteen months I was a counter agent.
With everything I learned from helping the operations agent, I spent lots of time training our agents on how Geek Squad operates on a daily basis.
This has helped grow our precincts knowledge to limit issues.

Worked hard and steadily month after month to make sure the department goals were reached and to keep upwith my goals on a monthly basis.
Here in computer I became very numbers and metrics oriented and gained apassion for hitting the vast number of budgets Best Buy puts into place.
Reached a goal of 20% GSP mix% rate one month.
During that year I helped our computing's team finisheighteenth in the company.
We finished second in the company one month, third another moth and top ten multiple times. As a full timer in computers I took it upon me to help train the new hires on how to sell more and sell better.
I helped train one of our associates Geoff Wein who was also able to make the transition to geek squad and is one of our top selling Counter Agents at the moment.
