Work in a 60,000sq ft Data Center performing preventative maintenance on critical equipment. The 20,000 sq ft Data Area consists of various electrical and HVAC equipment. Daily PM's are completed with documentation on Amp and Voltage readings. This consists of four 480v 4000 amp 3 phase PDU's, 208v PDU's, 208v RPP's stepped down to 120v power strips which fed the computer racks. Equipment is monitored by the Building Management System (BMS): Johnson Controls Metasys and Siemens Win/EPMS. Critical equipment are four 16 cyl. Caterpillar generators with two 10,000gal underground storage tanks. Four Eaton/Powerware 750 kVA UPS modules. Battery backup consisting of 768 flooded wet cell lead acid batteries. Cooling is supplied by 34 A/C (CRAC) units. Cooling to the A/C units is supplied by a 3 loop Propylene Glycol Dry Cooler System consisting of 3 two pump systems. The fire suppression system consists of a Dry FM200 System activated by a VESDA Laser Scanner, a Pre-action 3 detection system and a wet system. The building has three 30 ton and two 15 ton Liebert rooftop A/C units. Three York RTU's supply cooling to the non-critical areas of the building.
