Achieved $8 million reduction in Finished Goods via FG Kanban: As part of a multifunctional Kaizen team, I was the process owner, trainer, and coach for the implementation of a new Fin Goods Kanban process across multiple plants in the Division.
We transformed the company from Make to Stock (MTS) to Make to Order (MTO).
As the Division's expert Impromptu user (Database), I was responsible for the data mining to support the most critical Division Kaizens: Developed and implemented a data driven Part Quantity Process Routing (PQPR) model used to support Value Stream Mapping across the whole Division.
This model represents the volume in dollars and units routed across work centers in the various Cells and Plants.
Developed and Implemented the Finished Goods Kanban Calculator that sets the Finished Goods Levels for the Division.
Developed and Implemented the Business Continuity Plan for Monticello Plant which is now used as the model for all plants.
This Continuity Plan establishes a benchmark and plan to improve for the Volume and Margin at risk if a catastrophe occurs at a given Plant.
