I completed a one week course in Cargo with Alaska Airlines in Anchorage Ak.
Kikiktagruk inupiaq Corporation owns a wide variety of residential and commercial buildings. it was my job to fill each and every one of those units to potential renters. I answered multiple calls on a daily bases giving information on what was available and what was needed to complete the application process. I used word on a daily bases to type up leases or announcements for new or existing renters.
I worked with other companies retrieving information to complete background checks. Provided a walk through of each available apartment or facility, did a move in inspection, talk through the lease with the new renter, took in daily payments or deposits.
I also worked with the maintenance crew on a daily bases planning out what was needed to fix and maintain apartments to be move in ready.
I also had to keep up with our maintenance supplies making daily orders and keeping inventory of what we had and what was needed.
I over saw the Janitorial side, working with our janitors and making sure KIC business was kept clean and up to par.
I have basic skills with Excel, I did use it a lot to give information to the board keeping them updated on our percentage levels with rentals and rent. I also had to present my board report every month, keeping them updated on how all the apartments and facilities were doing, how maintenance was doing and also our janitorial dept. Answer any
questions they might have.
I helped managed the receptionist area, including greeting visitors and responding to telephone and in-person requests for information.

Run daily errands. Close up the building as well as be the first to open up the building.
Worked with Joanne Harris as an assistant helping maintain shareholder records for the Nana region. Everyday was a Busy day, weather it be filing, organizing, maintaining a proper and non-cluttered but A-Z work area. When we needed to get to files for shareholders in a timely manner we needed to make sure they were accessibly ready. Multiple calls constantly daily answering questions in regards to the shareholders shares, how to enroll, what is needed to enroll, deadlines, faxes, scanning, signatures, in a timely manner. Be firm with shareholders and confidentiality, no over the phone confirmations, that they needed to come in to the office, or work with the resource tech in the villages. Write daily letters to shareholders giving any information needed to complete their requests. Change of address, direct deposits. Travel to the villages to get signatures or any paperwork needed to complete their files. Shareholder records was a great position and I learned a lot about our region.
