Leadership is not given to us through birth rather it must be a skill that must be put to practice. Through my high school career I have been in the JROTC program which is a military program to help create future leaders of America. through out the four years I have learned conflict resolution skill, and organizational skills that would better me as a person and leader. With me pursuing Business Management as a degree I plan to help better any business environment I am placed in.
I have a lot in mind for my future and hope I can be the best suited for this job I am submitting to.
I have received two medals while I was in the JROTC program. One was when I junior and it was a patriotism award in which it is awarded to a cadet who exhibits great pride for America and the uniform. My second award was the superior cadet award. I received it my senior year of high school and it goes to the top cadet in their grade level. It was for being the most well rounded cadet who did community service and participated heavily in the program.
Junior and Senior year of high school me and nine other seniors started the JROTC program in our school from scratch and within two years we were able to win the superintendents cup. I was a lead role as were the other nine cadet leaders in which we were to accomplish the impossible.
I have been a good college student with good grades and keeping my morals in check. It may not seem a big accomplishment but I consider it to be the best accomplishment. I am able to keep focused even with all the distractions of college and family issues.
A family friend who at times through out the summer needed help around the shop. I would drive the vehicle to various parts of Huntersville and Cornelius. I also helped cleaned around the shop and did what ever I could t o be helpful
As the office assistant I would help organize all the information about the children such as attendance all the various medical conditions of the children. In the office I would also help delegate on when and where to pick up children at certain times for everyone ran on a schedule. I believe I helped played a big role in the office even though I was an assistant.
My main job was being a camp counselor which was to watch over, entertain, feed and other wants that children may need. I would watch about ten children ranging from Kindergarten to fifth grade. At the YMCA their goal and mine was to help instill Christian values in everyday life, which means while the children are having fun they should also learn how to be respectful and a good citizen of the community.
I could anything to a lawn. From cutting and hedging all the way to planting and placing pine needles down. It was not a great source of income because I treated it more as a side job than anything because I was the only one doing four lawns a week. But I enjoyed the experience and learned so many things along the way.
I am currently enrolled in the very prestigious university. I am planning to major in Business management.
I was part of the first graduating class at the High school. students and I were able to make a footprint on our community and were put to a high standard and succeeded.
