Responsible for maintaining an alternative classroom for administratively placed students whom are experiencing behavioral difficulties. This will include implementation of behavior processing interviews and the monitoring of students progress.
Counsels and confers with students developing and providing program procedures, goals, objectives, and therapeutic problem solving implementation.
Become familiar with and develop rapports among selective at risk students and identify individual student needs according to their IEP.
Maintain appropriate documentation of student behaviors as well as progression on a daily basis. Transfer of data to the students parents, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, School Counselor, as well as the Administration to ensure all education and social needs are met.
