I am currently a Junior Enlisted in the California Air National Guard (ANG) at the 147th Combat Communications Squadron in San Diego, with a military grade of E3, and an AFSC of 3D1X2 (Cyber Transport Systems). I have more than 24 months of experience in the analysis of the interrelationship of pertinent components of systems associated in the network services department; along with planning and scheduling the sequence of programs and actions necessary for the accomplishment of assignments.
I have years of experience utilizing established methods in communications systems, technology, operations, and network systems. My formal training has provided me a proficient knowledge of data processing functions, communication systems, and general management principles to automate a work process. I have an understanding of IT concepts, principles, and methods used to plan network services that accomplish the mission and support customer requirements. I have knowledge and skill in applying network design, installation, operation, principles and maintenance; network protocols; applying remote access technology concept; and monitoring and diagnosing network performance.
I have hands-on experience configuring switches, routers, and TDC equipment; troubleshooting and repairing network infrastructure; and implementing and maintaining network systems, video/voice/ data services and cryptographic equipment. I have been trained in specific military and commercial communication systems and network systems technology and operations, enough training to be sufficient in the need to plan, manage, integrate, and/or execute certain communications and network systems, as well as define, analyze and perform remedies for problems that may arise in order to satisfy customer needs and follow mission objectives.
