I was also responsible for the departments Concealed Carry Permit program, processing gun permits, communicating with the Department of Justice on laws and permits, helped prepare the Sargent in charge of the program for the weapons classes in order for someone to obtain their permit. I was in a position where I performed many duties and learned the department well where I could help in almost all the positions. I was responsible on a daily basis for a large amount of cash as the department was very busy with all services.
