Professional Summary

Motivated individual who likes to motivate others. I have real life experience in mentoring others, especially friends and family members. I use a variety of skills to help others deal with situations and find solutions to situations. Two of my kids have disabilities, so I know what it is like to work with people who have disabilities and communication barriers. I have had to learn different ways of communicating and become proficient in clear, precise and direct communication. I took courses in learning Microsoft Word and Microsoft Document in high school as well as typing. I can demonstrate my typing skills if needed.

Skills

I am proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word and Document. I am proficient in typing. I am great at navigating the internet when needed. I have great communication skills and prefer to use direct, clear, concise communication skills. I do love coaching and mentoring people. I have helped many people make better decisions in their lives, including helping the owner of a local restaurant, get sober and stop drinking alcohol. I am always coming up with new ideas and love to collaborate with others when they have new ideas as well, whether it be friends, family members, or even church. I love contributing and making a positive impact on the people around me and my environment. I feel that negativity should never be brought to the work environment. You're going to face challenges, bad moments, and bad days in life. How you handle it is what matters. I strive to help others handle bad/negative things by helping them to redirect their focus when they need to be redirected by helping them change their base thoughts about things to something positive and productive. I like to help others get focused on the task at hand and do their job well. I am usually the person my friends come to for advice when they need help focusing and figuring out a solution to a situation they are dealing with.
