I was the head grill cook. When we had special parties for high-end clients I was the one who was responsible for preparing the food. I was also asked to wait tables on several occasions. I was responsible for letting the manager know the levels of stock on the shelves as well as in the cooler and the freezer.
I worked all over the kitchen-grill, fryers and the cold bar. I was responsible for letting the manager know when the stock levels were getting low.
I was hired there when there wasn't a restaurant. The newly hired staff helped the owner establish the menu and the decor. I waited tables and would be asked to wait on high-end customers who would host parties there. I was also the bartender. I was in charge of ordering the alcohol and dealing with the liquor representatives.
I started out as a waitress at Red Lobster. Eventually I moved up to bartender.
I am currently enrolled and I plan on graduating in December of 2014.
